Zechariah 4 & 5

4 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep. (this tells us of a cognitive awakening) (5^th vision)

²And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl (cup for oil) upon the top of it, and his seven (perfection) lamps (light=salvation) thereon, and seven pipes (to be poured out) to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: (this is language of the sanctuary- this is describing salvation as exampled by the sanctuary)

³And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

⁴So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

⁵Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

⁶Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

⁷Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Haggai 1:12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the Lord their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the Lord.
Zerubbabel is the governor of Judah. Mountains mean governance; the world wants to destroy YHVH’s governance.

⁸Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

⁹The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you.

{Zerubbabel has the blessings of Cyrus the Great to rebuild the physical temple.}

¹⁰For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

¹¹Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

¹²And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

¹³And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

¹⁴Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

Revelation 11:3-5 “And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.”

5 Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying* roll. [6^th vision]

*H5774 עוּף `uwph (oof) v. to cover (with wings or obscurity). This is the message of YHVH’s covenant.
Revelation 14:6-7 “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”

²And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.

1 Kings 6:2-3 “And the house which king Solomon built for the Lord, the length thereof was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits. And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house.”
1 Kings 6:23-25 “And within the oracle he made two cherubims of olive tree, each ten cubits high. And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits. And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubims were of one measure and one size.”
Exodus 25:20 “And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.”

³Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth (deceives) shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth (gives/takes an oath) shall be cut off as on that side according to it.

Exodus 32:15 “And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.”
Deuteronomy 30:1-3 “And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee, And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee.”

⁴I will bring it forth (The Torah/covenant), saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house (family) of the thief, (deceiver) and into the house of him that sweareth (promise/oath) falsely by my name: (Syncretism) and it shall remain in the midst of his house,(to be obstinate) and shall consume (complete) it with the timber (individual firmness) thereof and the stones (to build make firm) thereof.

Syncretism is the amalgamation or attempted amalgamation of different religions, cultures, or schools of thought.

⁵Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth. (pay attention to what is going on)

⁶And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah (dry measure) that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance (affliction) through all the earth. (dry measure equates to the lack of living water)

⁷And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead*(weighty measure): and this is a woman (church) that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.

*H3603 כִּכָּר kikkar (kik-kawr’) n-f. a circle. H5777 עוֹפֶרֶת `owphereth (o-feh’-reth) n-m. lead (from its dusty color) ~feminine participle active of H6080 a primitive root: meaning either to be gray or perhaps rather to pulverize.

⁸And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

The wickedness created by syncretism (mixing man=made traditions with the Word of God) was exposed when Yeshua/Jesus came and taught the Scriptures correctly.

⁹Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, (two religious systems) and the wind (Ruach) was in their wings (fringes); for they had wings like the wings of a stork (pious/holy one): and they lifted up (solemn declaration) the ephah (measure or standard) between the earth and the heaven.

¹⁰Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah? (who is it that does this)

¹¹And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.

Shinar is Babylon, or the heart of pagan syncretism.

Modern day Babylon is Rome. A prophesy over 800 years in the making.
