1 Timothy 2:5-8

⁵ For there is one God, and one mediator (intercessor) between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

⁶ Who gave himself a ransom* for all, to be testified in due time.

⁷ Whereunto I am ordained* a preacher**, and an apostle***, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith (firm persuasion) and verity (truth).

(specially) an ambassador of the Gospel.)

It is here that I question the lofty position that is either bestowed upon, or expected by, those that occupy the pulpit. It appears antithetical to the writings here by Paul. Paul sees it as a position of servitude of YHVHB and not servitude towards men in their earthly needs. The pulpit occupants have turned this work into a 501C3 to fill the bodily needs over the spiritual needs.

⁸ I will (resolve) therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath (anger/indignation) and doubting (debate).
