Savior AND Lord

Everyone is willing to call Him Savior but few are willing to call Him LORD

People talk a good game… many never follow through…

Americans are weak… the sportsball hulks are not the strength the Bible speaks of….

Psalm 147:10-11 “He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.”

Revelation 22:13-14 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”

Many are willing to Him their savior….yet are unwilling to call Him their LORD….

Matthew 7:22-24 “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? (gone to church, been a witness, etc) and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? (havent I done everything they taught me) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (sin against the scriptures and teach others to do the same) Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, (the scriptures) and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:”(solid foundation)

The ‘Easy Street’, or prosperity = grace mentality has corrupted [bewitched] the church.

Acts 8:9 “But there was a certain man, called __[insert almost any one]_, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:”

When did the term evangelist lose its reverence and submission to the Savior and his teachings.

These Rolex wearing and aircraft owning charlatans are just the beginning (and most obvious) of the hirelings.

Galatians 3:1 “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?”

God is very persistent….

Revelation 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”

And the end result … the people of God doing what God wants people to do…. infuriates Satan….

Revelation 12:17 “And the dragon [Satan] was wroth with the woman {Bride of Christ}, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
