6 I marvel (wonder in shock) that ye are so soon removed (change sides) from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: (reverting back to the sacrifices, rituals and ceremonies of the Pagan belief systems.)
2 Timothy 3:8 “Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.”
Jannes and Jambres are magicians mentioned in the Book of Exodus verses 7:10-12. It was their claim that they converted to Judaism and that they left Egypt at the Exodus. They are called the sons of Balaam, the unwitting non-Jewish prophet of Peor. It was said that during the end of their days they had necessary occult knowledge to confer magic and followed sun-god worship.
Psalm 119:160 “Thy word [Torah] is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth forever.”
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble (stir or agitate) you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, [this is Torah] and do them.”
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven (they knew of the Nephilim and knew they could present themselves falsely as Angels; even in the form of a religious leader it doesn’t matter how special the person may be), preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (Irrevocable vow of destruction)
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade (to have reliance in) men (Pharisaical law), or God? or do I seek to please (be agreeable) men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant (fully devoted) of Christ.
Paul is telling us should we live a life of faith we would not go back to the traditions of the world. He wants us to know that the truth of God’s words, which were in his day the Tanakh or Old Testament only, are the only words needed to understand our faith. That Yeshua opened the door for us to enter into the covenant of promise.
11 But I certify (make known) you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after (according to) man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation (disclosure) of Jesus Christ.
13 For ye have heard of my conversation (behavior), in time past in the Jews’ religion (the strict adherence of the Pharisees, the Talmud and Halacha), how that beyond measure (to extremes) I persecuted (destroy) the church (people) of God, and wasted (fiercely ransacked) it:
Rabbinic Judaism suggests that Deuteronomy 30:12 “It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?” Gives the Rabbi the right to change, amend or otherwise dismiss the commands of YHWH.
This line of thought by the Rabbi’s stands in direct opposition the opening verse of the same chapter. Deuteronomy 30:1-3,8 “And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee, And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee. And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the Lord, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.”
Where does your faith stand? Is it in the words of YHVH and the Bible? Or is it in the traditions of men and religious order?
Excellent! In BSF and church it was taught that Paul was speaking against the Jewish Law. But, he was not! Too many today still believe this manmade teaching because they can’t remove the inDOCTRINation of the seminarians. They can’t see past what they were taught since childhood.
