The Law of Sin and Death….
Adam’s sin brought about this unchangeable law: When a man sins he is then subject to eternal death.
Romans 5:12 “Wherefore, as by (since) one man sin entered into the world, and (causing) death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that (because) all have sinned”
So the question at hand is it ALL Adam’s fault??
Ezekiel 18:4 “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”
This tells us that we are measured individually and not based upon the heritage of the family. It has been said that bad company corrupts good behavior. This may well be the confusion that attributes the sin of the father upon the son.
Sin, or not to sin. That is the question. It is an individual relationship to YHWH, it is a choice to follow, or to not follow, the directions of YHWH.
1 John 5:2-3 “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”
1 John 3:4 “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”
In this generation we have to come to the conclusion that my sin is not Adam’s fault. We have to take ownership of our own actions. We either stand with YHWH or against Him.
