Terms and conditions. Does God have an EULA?

1 Corinthians 1:30 “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:”

But of him are ye = The people of God … how do we identify the people of God, these possessors of the Ruach HaKodesh.

1 John 2:3-5” And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.”

Exodus 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

‘law’ and ‘instructions’ and ‘commandments’ all are synonyms for the word Torah…. the instructions of God given to Moses..

in Christ Jesus = those who have separated themselves from the Pharisees and the Talmudic Judaism. God himself in the manifestation of Yeshua Messiah brings an end to the Aaron High Priest. This was a covenant made with the house of Aaron ONLY to be the earthly mediator of the Blood or in Hebrew a Salt Covenant. This is where we get the cliche ‘but is it worth its salt’ meaning value. Yeshua even warns of the value of salt in the parables. Yeshua also, in this same moment, offers up his own blood as a superior sacrifice. Look at Gods interaction with His people.

Isaiah 1:11 “To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.”

The overburdened Talmudic Judaism was not only wearing out the people, but here too, we see that it wore out God. God didn’t want an endless line of animals slaughtered…. He wanted, and still wants, obedience. Need proof?

Notice the transition of Abraham. First we see Paul detailing for us in Romans 4:3 “For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.” or what he is better know for saying “salvation by grace thru faith” followed by submission to the authority of God.

Genesis 26:4-5 “And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.” Which Paul echoes in Romans 4:3,9,13, Galatians and Hebrews.

Back to the issue of blood and atonement.

Romans 3:25 “Whom God hath set forth [Yeshua Messiah] to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;”

propitiation means substitution… so…. we are substituting the animal blood with the perfected blood of Yeshua (really God).

This fulfills scripture. God has always wanted to be our Savior!

Deuteronomy 11:2 “And know ye this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the Lord your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm”

People often miss the mercy displayed by God when allowed us, for the time that he did, to substitute our death sentences onto the innocent animal. For the Pentecostal crowd, the second act of grace, is when he frees the animal world [servants] of the burden of bearing our death sentences.

Philippians 2:6-8 “Yeshua, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

This! This is why Paul writes, Hebrews 8:1…
“Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;”

God once again saving us by His mighty right hand! …..and now there’s even more! ….how so Mr Amazing??? He (God) left for us the way in which to behave while in his house (protection, grace, mercy, etc)

1 Chronicles 22:12 Only the Lord give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the Lord thy God.

Proverbs 31:26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.” (The ‘her’ here is the church… “love the Lord your God…and your neighbor as yourself”)

Psalm 119:142 “Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.”

Isaiah 51:7 “Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their reviling’s.”

It appears to me that God has an EULA and we have bound it in leather and carry it on occasion. Fewer yet dig deep for the connection between the words of the “Old Testament” and the “New”. The numbers continue to dwindle when discerning the difference between a blood covenant, a position covenant, or the marriage covenant, not to mention the other four that come to mind. (something for you to research)

God wants to be our EVERYTHING! {Sorry Andy Gibb!}

He was our Creator and Teacher in the Garden….

He wants to be our High Priest (body) and Savior (blood) on the earth….

He wants to be our King in Glory…

Revelation 12:17 “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, (church/bride of Christ) and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
