² Speaking lies**** in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

(****G5573 ψευδολόγος pseudologos (psev-d̮o-lo’-ğos) adj. 1. (literally) of a false word or false saying (i.e. deceptive, not merely a mistake). 2. (by extension) a liar (i.e. one who uses false words, habitually). 3. (figuratively) proclaiming erroneous Christian instruction.) (Seared with a hot iron is a complete Hebraic thought. This means “to brand” or “cauterize”. Cauterization is a medical practice or technique of burning a part of a body to remove or close off a part of it. This tell us that these people coming after the departure of the disciples will leave the teachings of the disciples and will fall for lies created by Satan and delivered by men to the body of believers. In this action the people buying these lies will close off their faith to the truth delivered by the disciples and will walk in error while being vehement and arrogant about their false beliefs. )
