14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed (to accurse, to devote to destruction) above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
God is announcing to Satan that he will receive the heaviest punishment of all of creation. Also, at the same time God has divulged the ugliness of Satan consuming mankind.
1 Peter 5:8 “Be serious! Be alert! Your adversary the Devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour.”
15 And I will put enmity (hostility or hatred) between thee and the woman, and between thy seed (child/children) and her seed (child/children); it shall bruise (overwhelm) thy head (chief, rank, rule), and thou shalt bruise his heel. (to circumvent or restrain)
Matthew 13:34-40 “All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
John 8:42-44 “Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” Notice the text separates ‘F” from “f”
16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow (wearisomeness H6093) and thy conception (pregnancy); in sorrow (pain, toil H6089) thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened (give attention or obedience) unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
This cursing, as well as the one Satan received, are direct results of tampering with creation. In similar fashion to other laws that cannot be broken, there is, the existence of an unstoppable and exacting reaction based upon the previous action. With the introduction of foreign matter into the base material the base automatically changes. This is exactly what occurred when Adam and Eve consumed the lies of Satan. They introduced foreign matter into the whole of creation thereby corrupting the image of God’s design.
18 Thorns (pains) also and thistles (irritations) shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
19 In the sweat (agitated/exhausted) of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
