Proverbs 28:9 …. Prayers

” He that turneth away [H5493] his ear [H241] from hearing [H8085] the law [H8451], even his prayer [H8605] shall be abomination [H8441.]”

H5493 סוּר cuwr (soor) v. – to turn off, call back, decline, depart, leave undone, revolt, be without.

H241 אֹזֶן ‘ozen (o’-zen) n-f. – the ear, hearing, audience, to hearken

H8085 שָׁמַע shama` (shaw-mah’) v. –  to hear intelligently with implication of attention, obedience, consent

H8451 תּוֹרָה towrah (to-raw’) n-f. – Torah-Law {i.e. the Ten Royal Edicts (Commandments) and Pentateuch; see Exodus 34:28, Deuteronomy 4:13, Deuteronomy 10:4}

H8441 תּוֹעֵבַה tow`ebah (to-ay-ɓaw’) n-f. – something disgusting.

To read this as it was written in the original Hebrew….

The man/person that departs from hearing and doing the Torah, the commands and teachings of YHWH, his supplications will be considered disgusting.
