6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals (the teachings of God from the Torah), and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder (a great roar), one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

Zechariah 6:1-7 “And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses. Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord? And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth. The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country. And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.”

² And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow (artificial light); and a crown (a laurel wreath, a prize in the public games, Roman!) was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

This is the antichrist deceiving people during the golden age of Rome. 96-180 ad

Zechariah 1:8-10 “I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white. Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be. And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the Lord hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.

³ And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

⁴ And there went out another horse that was red (bloodshed): and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

The Roman dynasty initiates collapse 180-270 ad as Rome goes through constant upheaval with 27 different emperors. Believers [Nazarenes] were killed for sport and entertainment.

Mark 13:7-8 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

⁵ And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse and he that sat on him had a pair of balances (servitude or subjugation) in his hand.

Mark 13: 9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

⁶ And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

This is a time of hyper-inflation, excessive taxation and looting by the armies of Rome. Civil unrest and monetary collapse during 225-232 ad. landowners burned crops to avoid taxation. A law was passed by Rome to preserve the Olive Trees and the Vineyards by avoiding taxation on these crops.

⁷ And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

⁸ And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Caracalla was the emperor in Rome opening the Bath House society. Extravagant living lead to an uncontrolled society and ambivalent military leadership. The Pale Horse rides at the same time as the Red and Black Horses. Romes enemies take advantage of this and devastate much of Rome.

During Deasia’s reign a plague strikes the earth for 20 years killing millions. Famine and disease ravage the earth and the Nazarenes were blamed and thus the persecution begins around 296 ad.

Mark 13:11-12 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

⁹ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

Diocletian in 285 ad begins the most extensive persecution of the Nazarenes. These were Apostolic believers were executed for their faith and would continue to be persecuted for more than 1400 years under the Roman Catholic regime.
¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

¹¹ And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
