Psalm 2:10 “Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear,(exceeding reverence) and rejoice with trembling.” (to shudder)
Churchianity today has a flippant attitude in concerns to their level of respect. Telling God what day they will be present instead of making sure they are there when God is present. Shabbat is just one example.
Philippians 2:12 “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.“
